Information Collection
Stone Analytics is the sole owner of the information collected on www.stoneanalytics.com by Stone Analytics. We may collect information from you at several different points on our website. We treat all our client information with complete confidentiality.

If our information practices change in the future, we will use only data collected from the time of the policy change forward for these new purposes, or we will contact you before we use your data for these new purposes and offer you the ability to opt out of these new uses.

In certain portions of this website, you must complete a registration form in order to view an online demonstration, receive information about our products and services or to participate in a webinar or other event. During registration a user is required to give contact information (such as name, company, telephone number and e-mail address). We will use this information to contact you about the products, services and events featured on our site for which you have expressed interest. Other demographic information we may request (such as information about your business) and unique identifiers may be required so we can provide a more personalized experience on our site or so we can provide you with the most appropriate information. We do not require that you submit a social security number or credit card information in connection with the use of this Website. Information Use

Profile
We store information that we collect through web forms, cookies and log files to create a profile of our users. A profile is stored information we keep on individual users that details their potential interest in our products and services. Consequently, collected information is tied to the users personally identifiable information to provide relevant information and improve the content of our Website. This profile is used to direct pertinent marketing promotions to the user. At the present time, we do not share your profile with third parties.

Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user's hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions. Here is a link to information about cookies: http://www.microsoft.com/info/cookies.htm We use cookies to facilitate the filling out of our various web forms. After you fill out a form, a cookie is set saving your information (name, title, company, address, phone and e-mail) which then pre-populates (i.e. fills out) the pertinent sections of other forms you may be prompted to complete on our Website.

In addition, we utilize certain software to analyze the server logs and generate a report about the traffic to www.stoneanalytics.com. These reports are general and we do not utilize a cookie or other means to monitor a user's specific activity or return visits to our site. However, this analysis does provide us with information about the source through which you are originating your connection to the Internet (such as an Internet service provider such as AOL or MSN or your company if you are accessing the Internet through corporate access).

Log Files
Like most standard website servers we use log files on our website. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
