Stone Analytics, San Diego, CA—February 3, 2003—Stone Analytics®, a leading provider of embeddable analytic engines, today announced that it was selected by a panel of industry experts as one of "San Diego's most promising early- and mid-stage technology companies," and as a result will present at the UCSD CONNECT 2003 Technology Financial Forum.

Stone Analytics was one of 24 companies selected from a pool of more than 80 applicants, all of which are commercially viable and undergoing significant growth. The presenting companies must have already received venture capital or seed investment, and be related to high technology—software/Internet, electronics, computer hardware, or telecommunications.

UCSD CONNECT (www.connect.org) is a globally recognized, university-based non-profit organization that fosters entrepreneurship in the San Diego region by catalyzing, accelerating, and supporting the growth of the most promising technology and life sciences businesses. The 2003 Technology Financial Forum, scheduled for February 12, brings together capital providers and investors to see and hear first-hand about what UCSD CONNECT describes as the region's "best capital investment opportunities."
